history of Ironstone Concours

Ironstone Concours d’Elegance

Our flagship event, the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance, is held annually at the beautiful Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, California. This prestigious car show features over 300 classic cars, vintage motorcycles, and antique trucks, all meticulously restored and displayed against the stunning backdrop of the Sierra Nevada foothills. Attendees can explore a wide range of automotive history, from early 20th-century models to mid-century American muscle cars, all while enjoying fine wine, gourmet food, and live entertainment.

Automotive Tours and Rallies

Throughout the year, we organize exclusive automotive tours and rallies that allow participants to experience the beauty of California’s scenic byways in their classic vehicles. These events are designed to be both leisurely and engaging, offering a perfect blend of driving pleasure and social interaction. Participants can look forward to carefully curated routes, luxury accommodations, and opportunities to connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Charity Auctions and Fundraisers

In addition to our automotive events, the Ironstone Concours Foundation hosts charity auctions and fundraising dinners that directly benefit our mission to support youth in agriculture. These events feature a range of auction items, including rare automobilia, exclusive experiences, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Guests can enjoy a night of fine dining and entertainment, all while contributing to a worthy cause.

Youth Agriculture Events

Supporting the future of agriculture is at the heart of our mission. We sponsor and participate in several youth agriculture events throughout the year, including the 4-H Leadership Conference and FFA activities. These events provide invaluable opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and connect with mentors in the agricultural community. Our involvement ensures that the next generation of farmers and leaders is well-equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Special Exhibitions and Community Engagement

The Ironstone Concours Foundation is also proud to host special exhibitions and community events that showcase the intersection of automotive history and agricultural heritage. From themed displays at local fairs to educational workshops, we aim to engage the community and inspire a deeper appreciation for both classic cars and the agricultural traditions that sustain us.
